Pam Goldsmith-Jones

MP & Parliamentary Secretary to the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Pam Goldsmith-Jones is the federal Liberal candidate for the West Vancouver Sunshine Coast Sea to Sky Country. She studied Political Science at the University of British Columbia, where she earned her Masters degree in local government. Pam served two terms as Mayor for West Vancouver (2005-2011) and is finishing her MBA at Simon Fraser University, majoring in Aboriginal Business and Leadership. She has been a feature guest speaker at Creative Mornings Vancouver and Pecha Kucha Vancouver. Pam is committed to working towards a diversified economy; standing up for the environment; being a strong voice for community; and to representing Canadian values through a government that is open, accessible and fair.

Pam was born and raised in West Vancouver, where she currently resides with her husband of 30 years, Geoff. Pam served as a Councillor in North Vancouver from 1993 to 1996 and in West Vancouver from 2002 to 2005. She then went on to become mayor of West Vancouver in 2005, holding the position until 2011.

Pam is the proud mother of three children. She holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from UBC, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at SFU’s Beedie School of Business.
