A few weeks ago, we hosted the North of Now Summit in partnership with @virginunite.

What stayed with us most wasn’t just the conversation about AI — it was the clarity.

That we’re standing at a pivotal moment, and the future we build will be shaped by how we lead.

Attendees shared a powerful throughline:

✨ Technology doesn’t create transformation — people do. AI should expand human potential, not just efficiency. When used well, it gives leaders back time for better thinking, deeper connection, and more meaningful work.

✨ Culture is the real work. Psychological safety, trust, and purpose can’t be bolted on. Change fails when it’s rushed or driven by fear. The leaders who move forward are the ones leading with curiosity, courage, compassion, and community.

✨ This is long-game leadership. Designing systems that reflect our values. Building inclusion into how we measure success. Being transparent when things don’t go as planned — and learning together.

✨ Leadership must be visible and human. When leaders learn out loud, ask questions, and show their own journey, others follow. The future doesn’t arrive through mandates — it arrives through example.

This year’s findings suggest that, for the first time in over a decade, women report slightly less interest in pursuing promotions than men — a headline that has sparked widespread debate.
