WNORTH will host their inaugural London Event at Canada House

For Immediate Release – LONDON, UKJune 7, 2018 – WNORTH, a global community of women who are aiming for, or already on, a senior executive leadership track, will host their inaugural London event in partnership with the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom at Canada House on Thursday, June 14.  WNORTH will celebrate and profile “Modern Role Models” with a lineup of leading speakers from around London including:

  • Alison Nimmo, Chief Executive at The Crown Estate
  • Farah Mohamed, CEO at the Malala Fund
  • Chantal Coady OBE, Founder at Rococo Chocolates
  • Max Foster, Anchor and London Correspondent at CNN
  • Shirin Foroutan, COO at MPC Film
  • Rupal Kantaria, Social Impact Advisor, Co-Lead Global Women at Oliver Wyman

WNORTH was founded in Canada in 2015 by CEO Heather Odendaal, when her own search for resources supporting mid-career women on the rise to senior leadership fell short. Since then, WNORTH has grown into a global women’s leadership brand that connects top female business leaders in corporate, public and entrepreneurial sectors, with an annual conference, an online community, The Members’ Club, as well as programming in six chapter cities; Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle, San Francisco, New York and now, London.

“Supporting women on the journey to executive leadership is critically important to ensuring that we have the female pipeline of candidates for top jobs in London and around the world,” says Heather Odendaal, Co-Founder and CEO at WNORTH. “We are thrilled to be bringing together this community of high potential women at Canada House this June.”

WNORTH is a global community of women who are aiming for, or already on, a senior executive leadership track.  WNORTH’s mission is to develop more women to leading positions in business, and in doing so we will elevate the teams they work in, the families they lead and the communities in which they live.

On Thursday June 14, WNORTH will host an official Launch Event of the London Chapter of WNORTH at the prestigious Canada house, Trafalgar Square: Celebrating Modern Role Models: Lessons in Leadership.  An evening cocktail event with light appetizers, wines from British Columbia, special remarks, speakers and an engaging panel discussion! More details on the event can be found here:

The event is open to members of the Members’ Club at WNORTH and enrollment is open at:
