WNORTH Summit returns to New York City for Year 3!

A GATHERING OF INFLUENTIAL WOMEN DURING THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY

WNORTH is an award-winning membership network dedicated to bridging the gender power gap by elevating women in the leadership pipeline across North America. WNORTH brings together professional women at a high level to share their systems, networks, knowledge, and experience and to collectively code leadership and management environments to women’s experiences.

On September 17, 2026, WNORTH will gather in New York City during the United Nations General Assembly for the 3rd year for a timely and powerful convening of women leaders.   This summit is designed with purpose—bringing together trailblazers from business, policy, social impact, and innovation to explore how women are reshaping power, influence, and leadership on the global stage. Against the backdrop of one of the world’s most important diplomatic weeks, we’ll host bold conversations, foster meaningful connections, and spark new ideas that will drive the next chapter of collective progress.

With the participation of 80 community leaders, changemakers, women leaders, and male allies, this summit promises to deliver valuable insights and foster meaningful connections.

WNORTH is recognized as the global curator of transformational leadership gatherings for women—blending luxury, belonging, and impact. Through destination retreats, curated in-person gatherings in Canada, the US, and the UK, virtual forums, and our flagship Whistler Conference, we’ve hosted 450+ events, welcomed over 20,000 participants, and featured more than 500 global thought leaders.  We have co-hosted events with Virgin Unite, PwC, Thinkific, Instagram, SAP and TD Bank.

In 2025, during UNGA 80 in New York City, Heather was named to the Top 100 Faces of Impact, she has also been named by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business as one of the Top 50 Changemakers of 2022 and a Top Female Founder of 2024 and 2025 by FoundersBeta.

Suzy Gigante

Head of Community Engagement, Virgin Unite

Suzy is a community and experience builder with 15 years in the nonprofit and philanthropy world, designing gatherings, curating meaningful moments, and building the kinds of relationships and communities that can lead to real change.

Since joining Virgin Unite—the nonprofit foundation of Richard Branson, the Branson family, and the Virgin Group—in 2017, she has led their global community, bringing together philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and business leaders united by one big idea: using their resources, influence, and networks for good. Her work focuses on creating spaces where people feel connected enough to have honest conversations, form unlikely partnerships, and leave inspired to take action (ideally with a beautiful view involved).

Before Virgin Unite, Suzy spent six years with Clinton Global Initiative, helping lead membership strategy and producing more than 30 global gatherings, including the first-ever CGI Middle East & North Africa meeting. Earlier stops included Harvard University, Interpublic Group, and a brief but glamorous detour into celebrity event planning with David Tutera (where she learned a shocking amount about floral budgets).

A proud New Yorker and daughter of Polish immigrants (and first-generation American), Suzy spent more than five years living in the British Virgin Islands before recently making her return to New York City with her chocolate lab, Bento—a dog who previously believed all of life involved beaches, golf carts, and coconuts.

At the heart of it all, Suzy believes deeply in the power of community, thoughtful connection, and bringing people together in ways that make the world feel a little smaller, and hopefully a little better.
