These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the WNORTH website and your purchase or participation in WNORTH memberships, events, programs and experiences.
WNORTH is operated by Bluebird Strategy Ltd. (“WNORTH,” “we,” “us” or “our”).
By accessing our website, purchasing a membership or registration, or participating in a WNORTH program or experience, you agree to these Terms.
- WNORTH Membership
WNORTH is a professional membership community providing members with access to programming, experiences, relationships, content and other benefits that may include virtual programming, Forums, events, member-led gatherings and preferential access or pricing for selected WNORTH experiences.
Membership benefits may vary from year to year and may be modified as WNORTH evolves its programming.
Membership does not guarantee access to every WNORTH program or event. Certain experiences may require separate registration, application, approval or additional fees and may have limited capacity.
- Membership Eligibility
WNORTH offers two categories of membership: WNORTH Membership and WNORTH Reserve Membership. Both are application-based and intentionally curated to support the quality, purpose and integrity of the WNORTH community.
WNORTH Membership
WNORTH Membership is designed for women who are:
- Established in their professional journey, with a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, or demonstrated leadership as a founder, entrepreneur or independent professional;
- Committed to leadership and growth, whether within an organization, a venture they have built or a cause they care deeply about; and
- Aligned with WNORTH values, including a commitment to elevating others, contributing meaningfully to the community and leading with generosity.
WNORTH Reserve Membership
WNORTH Reserve is a more intimate membership for executive women and established founders. Membership is limited by design and brings together a carefully curated group of senior leaders for deeper peer connection throughout the year.
Reserve applicants will generally meet one of the following professional criteria:
- Executive Leaders: A minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience and a current role at Director level or above, or equivalent senior leadership responsibility; or
- Founders & Entrepreneurs: Founder or co-founder of an established business generating at least US$250,000 in annual revenue, or demonstrating comparable business scale, traction or leadership experience.
In addition to professional eligibility, WNORTH may consider an applicant’s leadership experience, community contribution, alignment with WNORTH values and the overall composition of the membership.
Meeting the stated eligibility criteria does not guarantee acceptance. WNORTH reserves the right to review and approve membership applications at its discretion in order to maintain the quality, diversity of experience, purpose and integrity of the community.
Membership eligibility criteria may be updated by WNORTH from time to time as the community and its programs evolve.
- Membership Term, Renewal & 30-Day Guarantee
WNORTH Memberships are valid for the membership period identified at the time of purchase, generally twelve (12) months unless otherwise stated.
Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, memberships automatically renew for an additional membership term at the end of the current membership period using the payment method on file.
The applicable renewal fee will be the membership rate in effect at the time of renewal. Membership fees, benefits and program offerings may change from one membership period to the next. Where required, WNORTH will provide advance notice of the upcoming renewal and applicable renewal fee.
Members may cancel automatic renewal at any time before their renewal date. Cancellation prevents the membership from renewing for a subsequent term but does not terminate or refund the current membership period.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New WNORTH members are eligible for a 30-day money-back guarantee. If, within thirty (30) days of the initial membership purchase, a new member determines that WNORTH Membership is not the right fit, they may contact WNORTH to cancel their membership and request a refund of the membership fee paid.
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to a member’s initial membership purchase only and does not apply to membership renewals or subsequent membership terms.
WNORTH reserves the right to establish reasonable conditions for the guarantee in cases of misuse or abuse.
- Membership Cancellation, Refunds & Upgrades
Cancellation & Refunds
New memberships are eligible for WNORTH’s 30-day money-back guarantee as outlined above. After the initial 30-day period, annual membership fees are non-refundable.
Members may cancel automatic renewal at any time prior to their next renewal date. Cancelling automatic renewal does not terminate the current membership or result in a refund. The member will continue to have access to applicable membership benefits until the end of their current membership term.
Memberships are personal and may not be transferred, assigned or shared with another individual unless expressly authorized by WNORTH.
Changes in Employment or Personal Circumstances
A change in employment, professional role, location, parental or other leave, or personal circumstances does not automatically entitle a member to a refund, transfer, extension or suspension of membership.
WNORTH recognizes that circumstances can change and may, at its discretion, consider requests for accommodations on a case-by-case basis.
Upgrading to WNORTH Reserve
Eligible WNORTH Members may apply to upgrade to WNORTH Reserve Membership during their current membership term.
If approved for WNORTH Reserve, the amount paid for the member’s current WNORTH Membership may be credited toward the applicable WNORTH Reserve Membership fee, with the member responsible for paying the remaining balance.
Upgrades to WNORTH Reserve are subject to Reserve eligibility requirements, availability and approval by WNORTH. Membership in WNORTH does not guarantee acceptance into WNORTH Reserve.
- WNORTH Forums
WNORTH Forums are small, peer-based groups designed to foster meaningful connection, confidential conversation and ongoing leadership development within the WNORTH community.
WNORTH Membership
Participation in WNORTH Forums is included as a benefit of WNORTH Membership at no additional cost, subject to availability and capacity.
Forum registration and placement may be offered during designated seasons throughout the membership year. While WNORTH will make reasonable efforts to accommodate interested members, Forum capacity is limited and participation or placement in a particular season, group or with particular participants cannot be guaranteed.
WNORTH Reserve Membership
Participation in a virtual WNORTH Reserve Forum is included as a core component of WNORTH Reserve Membership, and Reserve members will be assigned to a Forum group.
Consistent participation is an important part of building trust, continuity and meaningful peer relationships within each Forum. Reserve members are therefore expected to make Forum participation a priority and are encouraged to miss no more than two (2) scheduled Forum sessions during their membership term.
If a Reserve member is unable to attend a scheduled Forum session, they are asked to provide as much advance notice as possible and, wherever reasonably possible, at least two (2) business days’ notice.
Forum Confidentiality & Participation
All Forum participants agree to respect the confidentiality and privacy of Forum conversations and fellow participants and to abide by the WNORTH Code of Conduct.
WNORTH determines Forum composition and placement with consideration for the experience of the group as a whole. WNORTH cannot guarantee placement with particular participants and reserves the right to make changes to Forum composition, scheduling or facilitation where reasonably necessary.
- Events & Experiences
WNORTH hosts in-person and virtual experiences that may include conferences, summits, Connect Dinners, workshops, roundtables, delegations, retreats, member-led experiences and other programming.
Registration fees cover only those inclusions expressly identified for the applicable experience.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation, travel documentation, insurance and other personal expenses.
- Event Registration & Payment
Registration is not confirmed until required payment has been successfully received.
Event capacity may be limited and registrations may close at any time once capacity is reached.
Member pricing is available only to eligible members in good standing where applicable.
Registrations and membership purchases may be subject to applicable taxes and processing fees.
- Event Cancellation, Refunds & Transfers
Unless a different cancellation or refund policy is expressly stated on the applicable event registration page, the following policies apply to WNORTH-produced events and experiences.
WNORTH Conference, Summits & Delegations
For registrations to the WNORTH Conference, WNORTH Summits and WNORTH Leadership Delegations:
- 45 days or more before the event: Registrations may be cancelled for a refund of the amount paid, less a $140 processing fee.
- Less than 45 days before the event: Registrations are non-refundable.
Certain Delegations or destination experiences may include deposits, accommodations, transportation, activities or other third-party costs that are non-refundable. Where applicable, these terms will be communicated at the time of registration and any identified non-refundable amounts will not be eligible for refund.
Eligible registrations may be transferred to another participant prior to the event at no additional charge, subject to any applicable eligibility requirements and approval by WNORTH.
Smaller Events & Experiences
Tickets and registrations for WNORTH dinners, workshops, member events, roundtables, receptions and other smaller or limited-capacity experiences are non-refundable once purchased, unless otherwise expressly stated at the time of registration.
Where possible, WNORTH may permit a registration to be transferred to another eligible participant prior to the event. Transfers are subject to availability, applicable eligibility requirements and approval by WNORTH.
Event Changes or Cancellation by WNORTH
WNORTH reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event programming, speakers, venues, schedules or other event elements.
If WNORTH cancels an event and does not provide a replacement or rescheduled experience, registered participants will be provided with the applicable refund or credit options communicated by WNORTH.
- Destination Experiences, Delegations & Retreats
Certain WNORTH experiences involve significant advance commitments to venues, suppliers and other third parties and may therefore have separate payment and cancellation terms.
The specific terms presented during registration for a destination experience, delegation or retreat will apply where they differ from these general Terms.
Participants are responsible for passports, visas, transportation, accommodation, travel insurance, health requirements and other travel arrangements unless expressly included.
WNORTH strongly recommends appropriate travel and cancellation insurance for destination experiences.
- Changes, Postponement or Cancellation by WNORTH
WNORTH reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event dates, venues, speakers, facilitators, programming, schedules, formats and other event elements where necessary. Speakers, facilitators and programming are subject to change.
Changes to an Event
Changes to speakers, facilitators, programming, schedules, venues or other individual elements of an event do not constitute cancellation of the event and do not, on their own, entitle a registrant to a refund.
Postponement or Rescheduling
If WNORTH postpones or reschedules an event, registrations will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled event.
If a registrant is unable to attend the rescheduled date, WNORTH may provide a credit for the amount paid to be applied toward another eligible WNORTH event or experience within a specified period. Any applicable options and deadlines will be communicated to affected registrants.
Cancellation by WNORTH
If WNORTH cancels an event in its entirety and does not reschedule the event or provide a substantially equivalent alternative, registrants will be entitled to a refund of the event registration fees paid to WNORTH.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, WNORTH is not responsible for reimbursement of airfare, accommodation, transportation, visa costs or other travel, personal or third-party expenses incurred in connection with attendance at an event.
Different cancellation, postponement or refund terms may apply to certain Delegations, retreats, destination experiences or other programs where specifically disclosed at the time of registration.
- Force Majeure
WNORTH will not be responsible for failure or delay in delivering an event, program or service resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public-health emergencies, government restrictions, labour disruptions, transportation interruptions, venue closures or other events of force majeure.
Where possible, WNORTH may reschedule, modify, relocate or deliver affected programming in an alternative format.
- Member-Led Events
WNORTH may permit members to host approved Member-Led Events under the WNORTH community and brand.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Member-Led Events are organized and hosted by participating members rather than by WNORTH.
Hosts are responsible for complying with applicable WNORTH guidelines and local requirements.
Participants acknowledge that WNORTH may not control the venue, activities or conduct of independent hosts and participants at Member-Led Events.
WNORTH reserves the right to approve, decline, modify or remove a Member-Led Event from its calendar or community channels.
- Code of Conduct
WNORTH is built on trust, generosity, meaningful connection and respect for the people around the table. All WNORTH members, event attendees, Forum participants and program participants are expected to contribute to a respectful, professional and inclusive community.
Respectful Conduct
Participants are expected to engage with one another respectfully and professionally. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threatening or disruptive behaviour, or other conduct that compromises the safety, dignity or experience of another participant will not be tolerated.
Confidentiality & Trust
Many WNORTH experiences are designed to create space for candid and meaningful conversation. Participants are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of information shared by fellow members and participants, particularly within WNORTH Forums and Reserve Forums.
Information shared within a Forum must not be recorded, disclosed, attributed or shared outside the Forum without the permission of the individual who shared it.
AI notetakers, transcription tools, meeting bots, recording assistants and other technologies that capture, transcribe, summarize, process or store conversations are not permitted in WNORTH Forums or Reserve Forums. Participants are responsible for disabling or removing such tools before joining a Forum session.
Community Participation
WNORTH is a relationship-driven community. Members are expected to engage in a manner consistent with WNORTH values, including contributing with generosity, respecting differing perspectives and experiences, and supporting an environment in which meaningful professional relationships can develop.
Members may not use WNORTH experiences, member relationships or community spaces for inappropriate solicitation, harassment, spam or other activity that materially detracts from the purpose or experience of the community.
Photography & Recording
Participants must respect WNORTH’s Photography, Recording & Media Policy. Participants may not photograph, film, livestream, record or otherwise capture confidential Forums or sessions identified as private without authorization.
WNORTH events and experiences may be professionally photographed, filmed or recorded by WNORTH or its authorized representatives in accordance with the Photography, Recording & Media provisions of these Terms and the WNORTH Privacy Policy.
Violations of the Code of Conduct
WNORTH reserves the right to address conduct that, in its reasonable judgment, compromises the safety, trust, integrity, reputation or experience of the WNORTH community.
Depending on the nature and circumstances of the conduct, WNORTH may take appropriate action, including providing a warning, removing an individual from an event, Forum or program, suspending or terminating membership, or restricting future participation in WNORTH memberships, programs, events or experiences.
Removal, suspension or termination as a result of a violation of this Code of Conduct does not entitle the individual to a refund of membership fees, event registrations, program fees or other amounts paid to WNORTH, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
WNORTH reserves the right to determine the appropriate response to a Code of Conduct concern based on the nature and circumstances of the situation.
- Photography, Recording & Media
WNORTH events and experiences may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed or otherwise recorded by WNORTH or its authorized representatives.
By registering for and attending a WNORTH event or experience, participants consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded and to WNORTH’s use of their image, likeness and appearance in event coverage, editorial content, social media, communications, advertising, marketing and promotional materials, in any media or format, subject to applicable law and the WNORTH Privacy Policy.
Participants acknowledge that such imagery or recordings may be published or distributed by WNORTH and that no additional approval or compensation will be required for such use.
WNORTH will make reasonable efforts to communicate when an event or experience is being professionally photographed, filmed or recorded.
Participant Recording, AI Notetakers & Confidential Sessions
Participants may not photograph, film, record, livestream or otherwise capture WNORTH Forums, Reserve Forums, or any session, conversation or experience identified as private or confidential without prior authorization from WNORTH and, where appropriate, the individuals involved.
AI notetakers, transcription tools, meeting bots, recording assistants and other automated technologies that capture, transcribe, summarize, process or store Forum conversations are not permitted in WNORTH Forums or Reserve Forums. Participants are responsible for ensuring that any such tools connected to their calendar, video-conferencing account or device are disabled or removed before joining a Forum session.
Participants are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow members and attendees when capturing or sharing content from WNORTH experiences.
- Confidentiality & Chatham House Rule
Where a WNORTH experience is designated as operating under the Chatham House Rule, participants may use information received during the conversation but may not reveal the identity or affiliation of the speaker or attribute comments to an individual without permission.
Participants must also respect personal information, experiences and stories shared in confidence by other members.
- Community Platforms & Content
Members may have access to WNORTH-operated or third-party community platforms.
Participants are responsible for content they post and must not post content that is unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, defamatory, misleading or infringes the rights of others.
WNORTH may moderate or remove content or restrict platform access where reasonably necessary to protect the community.
- Solicitation
WNORTH is designed for relationship-building, learning and professional connection.
Unsolicited selling, mass outreach, harvesting member contact information or using the WNORTH community primarily for commercial solicitation is prohibited.
Members may share relevant opportunities, services or expertise where appropriate and invited.
- Website Use
Users may not use the WNORTH website to:
- Violate applicable law;
- Attempt unauthorized access to WNORTH systems;
- Interfere with website operation or security;
- Introduce malicious software;
- Scrape or systematically collect information without authorization; or
- Infringe WNORTH’s or another party’s intellectual property rights.
WNORTH may restrict access where these Terms are violated.
- Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, WNORTH’s website, programming, materials, branding, logos, graphics, written content and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Bluebird Strategy Ltd. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
WNORTH materials may not be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or modified without prior authorization.
- Third-Party Services & Links
WNORTH may provide links to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms and services.
WNORTH does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, policies or content.
- Disclaimer
WNORTH provides leadership development, professional community, networking, educational programming and related experiences.
Information shared through WNORTH programming is intended for general educational and informational purposes and should not be considered legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
WNORTH does not guarantee specific professional, financial, business or personal outcomes resulting from membership or participation.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bluebird Strategy Ltd., WNORTH and their directors, officers, employees, contractors and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website or participation in WNORTH membership, programs or experiences.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia unless otherwise required by applicable law.
- Changes to These Terms
WNORTH may update these Terms periodically.
The current version will be published on the WNORTH website and identified by its “Last Updated” date.
