Founded in 2015 with our flagship WNORTH Conference in Whistler, WNORTH has grown into a global membership community known for curated destination leadership gatherings that bring accomplished women together in exceptional places. From Whistler to London, New York and beyond, we create thoughtfully designed experiences where meaningful connection, leadership growth and the calibre of who’s around the table come together.

We envision a world where more women reach the highest levels of leadership, entrepreneurship and decision-making, supported by the relationships, knowledge and networks that help them get there. Because progress isn’t only about how far we rise, but who rises with us.
History of WNORTH
WNORTH was founded by Canadian event planner Heather Odendaal in 2015 with a simple idea: to create the kind of leadership experience for women she had been searching for herself.
What began as a single conference in Whistler has grown into a global membership community, hosting 500+ experiences and welcoming 15,000+ attendees through conferences, intimate dinners, peer Forums, virtual programming and curated destination leadership gatherings around the world.
Through every chapter, WNORTH has remained committed to creating exceptional rooms where accomplished women can connect, grow and move forward together.
WNORTH Brand Story
Since 2015, WNORTH has been creating tables where accomplished women come together not simply to network, but to exchange ideas, build meaningful relationships and shape what comes next.
Our name and emblem reflect both where we began and the philosophy that continues to guide us today.
The W stands for Women and We; recognizing individual ambition and the collective power of women supporting, challenging and opening doors for one another. North is our shared compass; representing progress, possibility and our commitment to seeing more women at the highest levels of leadership and decision-making.
Our arrow, inlaid with mountains, honours our Whistler roots and represents forward momentum.
