Allana has been developing sustainability programs at Whistler Blackcomb for more than 25 years. During this time, the resort has received more than 40 awards recognizing efforts to achieve a zero operating footprint across all departments.

In 2016, Whistler Blackcomb was purchased by Vail Resorts, and WB’s zero operating footprint goal and programs were rolled up to what is now a network of 41 resorts in 4 countries. Allana is the zero waste lead for the entire Vail Resorts network and was the first woman to become a Certified Energy Manager in British Columbia.
