Michele Matthews has been a key contributor to the success of Canada’s leading haircare manufacturer, AG Hair, for over 25 years. As Executive Vice President, Michele is not only responsible for helping to set the strategic direction of the company in the ever-changing and fast-paced haircare industry, she is also responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and procedures with a focus on people and organizational development. Areas of responsibilities include governance, legal and the execution of corporate strategy as it relates to the Operations, People & Culture and IT Departments.

By designing and implementing new business processes, systems, technology and job roles, Michele has fostered a dynamic company culture that inspires innovation and promotes ethical practices aligned with AG’s belief statements. Her strategic leadership with a focus on issue resolution, company-wide project development, and transparent communication drives overall business results and ensures organizational effectiveness.

Michele is a Certified Executive Coach (Royal Roads University), holds a CPHR designation (2008), and is a graduate of BCIT in Human Resources Management. Michele and her husband Glenn were both raised in North Vancouver, and along with their 2 daughters are still proud to call it home.
