Riya Mehta

Global Health & VR Developer-Virtuary at The Hospital for Sick Children, Innovator at The Knowledge Society (TKS) 

Riya is a 17 year old women in STEM, social entrepreneur, technology developer and researcher. Her journey started off a little over 1 year ago when I became a researcher at The Hospital for Sick Children where she was researching the fields of AR/VR. Right now, she is developing ways of reinventing telemedicine through VR, a way for VR Hospitals to be integrated into the medical world. She always thought to herself she wanted to do more during that time, as the UN put out a list of the SDG goals that they wanted to see progress in by 2030. She co-founded a company working with leading partners on solving the sustainability goals, Futureshot Factory.
