Veronica Juarez
Area Vice President, Social Enterprise at Lyft
In June of 2013, Veronica was the first government relations hire for Lyft, joining the company when there were less than 60 employees. She successfully led the effort to enter and green-lit over 50 markets, including markets that competitors had unsuccessfully tried to enter for years.
In two years, she worked to build the government relations team and the foundational structure for Lyft’s long term policy and regulatory success. She now works closely with Lyft’s Chief Business Officer, David Baga, to aggressively grow Lyft’s enterprise business.
In June of 2015, she was named one of Fast Company Magazine’s Most Creative People in Business for 2015 and later named one of Levo League’s inaugural Levo 100, profiling millennials who are transforming the world as we know it.
Veronica has over a decade of legislative experience at the federal, state, and municipal level, including serving as the right hand to the Dean of the Texas State Senate, John Whitmire. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Phillips Exeter Academy.
