Maria Ebrahimji

Maria Ebrahimji is a media consultant, journalist, executive producer and content strategist passionate about storytelling, talent development, diversity, and global affairs. As an experienced team-builder, speaker, communicator and strategic thinker, Maria has cultivated a successful career building and leveraging high-profile relationships, producing and curating live events and creating cross-platform media initiatives. A former CNN executive, Maria led booking, research, and story planning for the company’s on-air interview and talent division in addition to serving as Vice Chair of Diversity and Inclusion. She is the co-founder of I Speak for Myself, Inc.(ISFM), a book series on interfaith and intercultural issues and is Managing Partner of C5 Collective a communications, programming, and social impact strategy consultancy that works with business leaders and change makers. Maria involved in a number of nonprofit and community organizations and currently serves on the boards of The Atlanta Press Club, Amana Academy, and Community Guilds. In addition, she is an active volunteer and mentor for New American Pathways, an organization working to provide services and support to refugee families in Georgia. Maria holds degrees from Brenau University (BA, Mass Communications) and Georgia State University (MA, Political Science) and can be often be found on her yoga mat or fueling her wanderlust.
