Ann Njoki
One Girl Can Scholarship Recipient, Data Science University Student
Ann Njoki is a third year computer science student at Kenyatta University in Kenya.
Ann aspires to pursue a career in data science and help organizations make sense of and analyze data to help solve problems and make informed decisions.
She was awarded the UNHCR golden academic award for her outstanding academic performance in 2016. As the captain for the university’s volleyball team, she led her team to emerge first runners-up in the East Africa’s inter-universities tournament in 2018 and win in various national tournaments.
Apart from computing, Ann enjoys reading novels, watching sci-fi movies, volunteering, mentoring and playing volleyball.
