About Nancy Goertzen, Roundtable Facilitator

Nancy Goertzen, ICD.D, is an experienced independent board director and has over 30 years of experience working with private and public companies across a broad range of industries. She is a specialist in investor strategy for new and emerging companies featuring investor readiness, corporate development, strategic partnerships, corporate governance, and go-public implementation. She is the creator of Boardroom Blueprint ®, a dynamic program for private and public companies building their first board programs.

Nancy’s first career was as a television producer and on-camera talent for programming that aired on CBC, PBS, TLC, and WTV. After ten years in broadcasting, she built a career in investor readiness and strategy for public and private companies, working with a variety of companies in renewable energy, web-based media, natural resources, international schools, mass timber, and more.

Nancy holds the ICD.D designation from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and is a Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR), a designation from Ivey Business School. She is a Director of Nationwide Self Storage Trusts I through VI, a Director of Mission Group Enterprises, a private real estate development company, a Director of Adcore (ADCO: TSX), an AI-powered ad tech
and martech company, and a Director of a private medtech company. She is an advisor and mentor to multiple startups and women looking for board positions. Nancy is a popular host for panels, roundtables, podcasts, and other events.
