Ana Paula Assis é Presidente da IBM América Latina desde julho de 2017. Durante seus mais de 20 anos de experiência internacional na indústria de TI, Ana dedicou sua carreira ao desenvolvimento de negócios estratégicos, gestão de mudanças em organizações grandes e multiculturais, e à liderança inovadora. Ana é reconhecida no mercado como líder de opinião em inteligência artificial e responsabilidade de dados. Também está comprometida com o desenvolvimento de ambientes de trabalho cada vez mais inclusivos e com o contínuo avanço da educação para impulsionar as capacidades das profissões do futuro. Anteriormente a esta função, foi Vice-Presidente de Software para a IBM Greater China Group e Gerente Geral de Technology Services para a América Latina. Ana é membro do conselho da JA Americas. Este ano, recebeu o prêmio “Executivo de Valor” em TI & Telecom, pelo Valor Econômico. Foi também reconhecida pela Forbes como uma das 20 Mulheres Mais Poderosas do Brasil e está entre os Melhores CEOs do Brasil.

Ana Paula Assis is the General Manager for IBM Latin America since July 2017. Within her 20+ years of international experience in the IT industry, Ana has devoted her career to strategic business development, change management of large and multicultural organizations and innovative leadership. She is recognized in the market as a thought leader on topics such as artificial intelligence and data responsibility. She is also committed to building an increasingly inclusive and diverse workplace as well as advancing education that boost skills of the professions of the future. Prior to this role, she was Vice President Software for IBM Greater China Group and General Manager of Technology Services for Latin America. Ana is a board member of JA Americas. This year, she was recognized by Valor Econômico as “Executiva de Valor – TI & Telecom”. She was also recognized by Forbes as one of the 20 Most Powerful Women in Brazil and one of the Most Powerful CEOs in Brazil.
